It’s always special.

I finally realized today what my big fat problem is with that particular question. It was a pleasant epiphany.

I have well learned, by experience, and by the example of others, to live in the moment. To create mental snapshots of the good AND the painful, so that I won’t forget the exquisite moments that make life the precious thing it is.

  • Try a new flavor of coffee
  • Make a midnight run for a milkshake
  • Research some natural way to color the expanding collection of gray hair on my head
  • Never follow through on coloring said greys
  • Shoot guns
  • Educate myself on using essential oils
  • Dance to the music coming through my headphones
  • Mentally figure out the chord progression of a song that is bugging me
  • Eat a pickle
